As Alchemy continues its rapid growth across the country, we're excited to welcome Tarak Patel as Vice President of Operations.
Tarak joins Alchemy after more than a decade of pharmacy leadership experience spanning retail pharmacy, health systems, specialty pharmacy, HIV care, and large-scale pharmacy operations. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Regional Operations at Genoa Healthcare, where he led national initiatives and pharmacy operations across the Western United States to help support hundreds of pharmacies and more than 1,000 employees.
Throughout his career, Tarak has helped launch new pharmacies, develop specialty pharmacy programs, implement clinical services, optimize operations, and support the growth of healthcare organizations serving complex patient populations. He has spent his career solving the challenge Alchemy faces today: how do you build systems that scale while preserving the patient-centered care that makes healthcare organizations successful in the first place?
As Alchemy expands to support more covered entities across the country, Tarak will lead our Pharmacy Operations organization, focusing on operational excellence, pharmacy-clinic integration, compliance, and the development of scalable processes that help our partners deliver exceptional patient care.
What stood out most throughout the interview process was Tarak's unwavering focus on people. Whether discussing pharmacy operations, leadership, or growth, he consistently returned to the same principle: successful organizations are built by investing in people and empowering teams to do their best work.

Tarak's experience also aligns closely with Alchemy's long-term vision for pharmacy. Having worked across health systems, specialty pharmacy, HIV-focused pharmacies, and clinic-based pharmacy models, he brings a deep understanding of how pharmacies can become an integrated part of care delivery rather than simply a dispensing function.
As we enter our next phase of growth, Tarak will play a critical role in helping Alchemy scale responsibly, strengthen our operational foundation, and continue delivering the level of partnership our covered entity partners expect.
