October was American Pharmacists Month: a moment to pause and celebrate the people at the heart of healthcare.
At Alchemy, we’re proud to work alongside pharmacists whose stories remind us why this profession matters so deeply. Every one of them chose pharmacy not just as a career, but as a calling driven by a shared belief in service, compassion, and the power of access to care.
Across the country, pharmacists are often the most accessible healthcare professionals. They’re the bridge between medical decisions and daily life and the ones patients see and trust most frequently. From increasing immunization rates and closing care gaps to helping patients manage chronic conditions safely at home, their impact extends far beyond the pharmacy counter.

That quiet moment of purpose, and every other source of inspiration for pharmacists, captures what this past month was all about.
To our pharmacists at Alchemy, and to pharmacists everywhere: Thank you for reminding us that the true impact of pharmacy goes far beyond the counter and into communities, homes, and lives across the country.

Growing up in Kenya, I saw firsthand how HIV devastated families and communities, and how access to medication could literally change lives. That experience inspired me to become a pharmacist, to be part of that bridge between treatment and hope.
